Christopher Peterson works in acrylic paint on paper, cardboard, and canvas. His work involves a process of abstraction that deconstructs and reconstructs the form and language of a painting. Themes and motifs are built up and reworked over time, creating opportunities for intuition and chance to play a part in the process.
Christopher Peterson is from Lancaster, Pennsylvania and lives and works in central Virginia. His work was exhibited in a solo show at Tourist gallery, White River Junction, Vermont in 2021, and is currently on view in an exhibition at Hotel Michele gallery, Margate, United Kingdom.
