Yevgeniya Baras lives and works in New York. She is co-founder of Regina Rex Gallery (2010-2018) and has curated numerous exhibitions in New York, Chicago, and Philadelphia. Yevgeniya is a recipient of a New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship; Guggenheim Fellowship; Pollock-Krasner Foundation grant; Artadia Prize; and Rema Hort Mann Foundation Emerging Artist Prize. She has had residencies at the Chinati Foundation; Yaddo; and MacDowell Colony. Her work has been reviewed in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Artforum, and Art in America. Her work is represented by Nicelle Beauchene Gallery, New York and Landing Gallery, Los Angeles. Yevgeniya holds a BA and MS from the University of Pennsylvania and an MFA in Painting and Drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
