Linnea Paskow

Double Portrait, 2019
26 x 35 in

Linnea Paskow works exclusively from dream imagery, constructing work with magazine fragments. The parts of preexisting images reconfigure to create new meaning driven by those dreamt experiences and emotions. The images remind herself of where she’s been and what she feels when she awakes. They are mementos from the world of sleep, reconstituted in color and form.

Linnea Paskow has had solo exhibitions at Kunstoffice, Berlin, Germany; Michael Steinberg Fine Art, New York; Honey Ramka, Brooklyn; and John Davis Gallery, Hudson, New York. Her work has been reviewed in Hyperallergic, Time Out New York, and NY Arts. She has an MFA from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Haverford College. She teaches at Pratt Institute and Parsons the New School for Design.
