Daminico Lynch

Daminico Lynch is an artist based in New York City. He is a photographer and independent filmmaker. He was born in Spanish Town, Jamaica W.I., and grew up in East Flatbush Brooklyn N.Y. 

He works primarily with 35mm analog film camera and Gelatin Silver Prints.  His black and white photographs consist of modern people going about their everyday life: in the subways, the parks, in the streets, and of anything that will pique his interest.  His photography focuses on the connection between people and explores both the human and universal connection.  His photographs have been featured in three solo shows and several groups shows in New York City.

His filmography includes: “U” (2017), a feature film, consist of short stories, was an award winner for best experimental film in the Toronto Indie Shorts film festival, 2020; his short films includes: Eve (2013), The Thief (2017), The Jealous Woman (2017), Enough (2017), The Ticket (2017), and A Woman In The City (2022), which was selected in: The Berlin International Art Film Festival (2022), The Amsterdam Short Film Festival (2022), Art Film Spirit Awards (2023), Toronto Indie Shorts (2023), International Manhattan Film Awards 2023; his latest completed short film is The Taxi Driver & The Passenger, which was an official selection in the International Manhattan Film Festival (2023).
